They say all good things must come to an end. But what about fabulously perfect things? It seems that those must end, too, because The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is returning for its fifth and final season. And we’re back on board with one last batch of new tunes—the most original music we’ve ever written for a season of the series. From Gordon Ford Show big band instrumentals to a “trashy” journey into the world of industrial musicals, we’re going out singing and dancing.
You can check out the soundtrack album at your favorite streaming music services or preorder physical copies now. As always, we’ll keep updating this story with links to interviews and behind the scenes reports:
Live performance of “Your Personal Trash Man Can” and Q&A with us from the Deadline Sound and Screen Concert

We’re going “full showbiz” in this print and video interview with Goldderby
The New York Post (!) goes behind the scenes of a Maisel Music Salon
The Wrap wonders if a third Emmy nomination could be the charm for the music of Maisel Season 5
And, just look at some of the reviews:
“…a musical number that will blow your socks off.” - /Film
“One episode features a sequence of a production onstage that’s complete with three original numbers and stretches nearly 20 minutes, and it’s, quite honestly, a total delight.” - Consequence TV
“The new songs from composers Tom Mizer and Curtis Moore (episode four is an absolute musical theater fever dream) continue to raise the bar … their writing only gets more sophisticated with every outing.” - Awards Daily
“Composers Thomas Mizer and Curtis Moore have truly outdone themselves with the many songs for the show-within-a-show.” - TV Fanatic
“…all peppered with the show’s signature sense of propulsive energy and exuberance, in particular a musical number that stands a decent chance of being stuck in your head for days.” - We Got This Covered
As bittersweet as saying goodbye is, we couldn’t be prouder of the whole Maisel family and what they’ve accomplished. It’s been a once-in-a-lifetime joy to help Midge and Company sing.
